The Best Way To Learn Italian

To learn italian in the easiest and best way possible, we recommend a 3 step process which aims to build your Italian knowledge naturally and exponentially. This 3 step plan focuses on building your Italian up in a way that means you’re constantly learning and growing your knowledge more and more as the learning process continues.

STEP 1 Learn the basics of Italian

To begin with, we suggest you learn the basics of Italian with a quality Italian course such as Rocket Italian. This will give you the base knowledge needed for the quickest progression in steps 2 & 3. Learning with this course will undoubtedly give you a great amount of knowledge which you can refer to again and again.

STEP 2 Talk to as many people fluent in Italian as possible

After you’ve gone through an Italian course and learned all it can teach to the fullest, it’s time to put your new knowledge to use and start speaking to fluent Italian speakers. That’s the second step of our plan — to get out and talk to as many people fluent in Italian as possible.

This step will be a big jump for many people but it’s important to note that it will be difficult at first. If you use an Italian course solely to learn your basic foundation knowledge, you will likely not talk to anyone else while you learn. This means that getting your accent, pronunciation and translation all sorted will only come naturally once you’ve spoken to at least a couple of fluent Italian speakers.

STEP 3 speak italian at Least 30 Minutes Per Day

If you try and talk to people or just brush up on your Italian for at least 30 minutes every single day, you will be fluent in a couple of weeks. Step 3 is all about constant improvement which will give you the confidence and ability to get out and learn even more about the language and more notably, the culture behind it.

And That’s It …

The whole point of these steps is to build your confidence, motivation and natural ability all toned with the language. It’s okay learning all about the language on your own or with a friend… but it won’t give you the real world skills that are so important in truly conquering this language.

The trick to these steps is to just forget that you’re going to be fluent one day. Forget about how stupid you might feel trying to talk a language you don’t fully understand yet and just think about if someone who didn’t quite know English started talking to you — you’d be as helpful and understanding as possible, right?

Well that’s how they’ll be with you!

And that’s our 3 step plan to best learn Italian. It’s a powerful method that will definitely have you speaking Italian confidently in just a couple of months. It’s all dependant on how much time and effort you put into the process as well as how well you build your foundation of knowledge in step 1.

Does anyone know any good websites that help ABSOLOUTE beginners learn French, Spanish or Italian?

It has to be FREE!

-For the ‘absolute beginner’ the website rocket italian gives a free comprehensive guide to the grammar, vocabulary and accent of the french language. All the lessons are filled with words which when hovered over, are acompanied by the sound of the word and it’s spelling in english.

-The vocabulary section of the website presents the words initally in picture form, once again hovering over the pictures will produce the spoken version of the words.

-As you progress from the most basic starting blocks of the language you will find that the site allows you to attempt readings in french whereby the work is read out to you. As you follow the speaking you may hover over the script in front of you to get a quick translation as you are reading over the words.

-By the way this site is totally free and also has a burgeoning section to do with spanish, italian and german among other languages.

-This site is by far and away the best I have seen for the french language and presents the relevant infomation better than most text books. The site is also run by volunteers, who deserve a great deal of thanks for what they have given the internet.

-Learning the italian language is a skill that will benefit you for the rest of your life and I wish you good luck. Remember to take it slow and do a small amount every day. To get you motivated, here are some quotations:

-”The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step”
-”It’s one small step for man etc.”
-”Just do it” (thank you Nike)

What is the best method for learning Italian as an adult?

I have been looking for a course or self taught books or website for learning to speak italian. So far everything that I have come across is not geared towards complete beginners. Any suggestions or assistance will be greatly appreciated.

You can use all the software and books in the world, but until you put yourself in a situation where you need to USE it, you won’t know it.

I didn’t learn italian until I actually went to Italy.

I thought all my life I was the greatest Italian American, but I didn’t know Jack Crap.

Learning Italian At First

learn italian
Shareen Aguilar asked:

The italian language can be easy for some and yet still appear difficult for most of the people who are trying to learn it. Though there are similar and common reasons as to how difficult to learn the Italian language is, there are still ways and means how to solve these problems.

You can get down and serious, crazy or purely insane. It doesn’t matter how you act towards your Italian lessons or how weird your approach of practicing it becomes, what matters is that you have all the concentration and focus needed to accomplish these things.

A few reminders though, when learning Italian, similar to other European Romance languages, it is important that you learn distinctions such as familiar versus formal greetings and gender-based words. There are more to these areas of the Italian grammar which need to be understood very well. But of course, in terms of using the formal way of greeting someone in Italian, it should be highly observed especially when you are meeting a person for the very first time. When you don’t have any relation to a person, respect should be rendered at all times. The last thing you want to do in speaking to Italians is to show rudeness.

So much for formal and familiar greetings. If you happened to learn the German language or any other languages which possess strong accents, spare the Italian language. As for the English language and native English speakers, you will need to learn the sing-song accent of the Italian language. It’s not only evident on the accent, but on the faces and actions of the Italian natives. When speaking in Italian, accompany the words with your facial expression and body language. This makes your stance even more convincing and real in speaking the language.

But, don’t worry. All of these things will come along just fine accordingly. You don’t need to worry whether you are going to do good or not. It’s more important that you learn what is right in a way that is compatible to your learning style.
