Any ideas on what I could do my Italian presentation on for my beginners Italian class?

italian for beginners

I am suppose to present something about Italy, the culture, or the language. In other words the presentation has to deal with an aspect of Italy. It needs to be five minutes long and needs to be presented in Italian. This is for my beginners Italian class, it is a college class. I am pretty sure that Italian Cuisine is already taken as well as Italian cars. If anyone has any ideas of what I can do my presentation on let me know.

One word…Cars. Or more sophisticated, the Italian Auto and Racing Industry.

I did a presentation on the landscape of Italy.
For example highest mountain area is the Monte Rosa, in the Northwest is the highest mountain of Europe the Mont Blanc and there are also active volcanoes in the south of Italy, Italy has about 1500 lakes one of the biggest is Lake Como etc.

How about concentrating on why Italian terms are dominant in the cafe industry. You can talk about the origin of words like cappuccino, macchiato, and espresso (some stories are quite colorful).

point one, the higest mountain of Italy is not Monte Rosa but Monte Bianco (mount Blanc for french, White mountain in English). However show one that can be a lesser aspect of Italy can be a good idea: every one who thinks about italian landscapes think about the country of tuscany or mediterranean regions, but Italy is much more various, see alps with their glacers and appennini with their forets… I remenmber a man thet thought that in Itlay there was not need for gloves becouse the climate is temperated… Actually where i am is pratically snowing, and I’m on the sea. And snow is cold everywhwere…
