Try to find books in German or people who already know German and talk. Talking is very important

Learning German in germany is best. However, you can start by learning vocabulary by labelling everything around you - spoon, knife, door, table, etc. Don’t forget the “the” - der, die, and das - you’ll need that as you learn the grammar.
Remember though, the knowledge of German and the skill to use it are different and required different kinds of learning. To do something, you must practice.
